Make an android app!!! I've waited over a year for an android app, even contacted you a few times. I'm afraid I'm on the brink of moving bank - it's easier for me to move bank than move phone OS
Over 50% of the mobile market are Android handsets. You're losing customers by not having an Android app. Yours, a Software Engineer who is moving their bank elsewhere.
can you please, please please open up for small business bank accounts as we would prefer to use you than your parent company HSBC
When will get anAndroid app for internet banking?
The ipad one is very basic so could form the basis of an Android app.
Not all your customers use or support Apple products and their restrictive practices.
Time for you to make a real commitment to Android users.
Hi@sc15 Our plans for 2012 are to make an android friendly version of Internet Banking which will run on all other smartphone devices. Due to the number of different operating systmes and browsers this hasn't been straighforward, so whilst we can't give you any definite timescales on when this will be available, please be assured we are working on it.
Added 1 day ago..and another Android request plus usual FD fob-off! Come on FD PLEASE listen to your customers. Take at look at NatWest's Android app. Something like this is what we want not some "Android friendly website".

Why is it other banks enable their mortgage repayment account customers to manage their account online i.e. view payments and interest applied to their account. Plus view the current balance (after said payments and interest applied). And FD just makes up some lame excuse?
If I had know that I couldn't do this, I would NEVER have moved my mortgage to FD even if the interest rate was better.

We want to make our website mobile optimised for all devices as this ensures the maximum compatibility for all who access firstdirect.com. We are listening, we know you want to be able to access the site from your Android devices and we are working on this, we just don't have any timescales at the moment.
