1) On the homepage change the "INTERNET BANKING" button to "LOG IN"
2) Employ a high class web designer ("designer" is not developer) to make buttons look like buttons and text look like text. Right now it's virtually impossible to tell the difference. I realize that the FD color scheme is black and white, but for usability you need to introduce color or at least shades of grey to create user friendly interface.
3) Look at HSBC or ING Direct to get an idea of what a good user-friendly banking website looks like. This site does not instill confidence, and most of us do our banking online.
it seems to me that you are paying too much to the managers and not enough to recruit and train I.T. specialists
instead of paying absolutely obscene salaries and bonuses to silverspooned no nothing jumped up little twits from eton etc pay normal employees and train them to do a proper job so that you dont get so many complaints
stop stealing the publics time to supplement the obscene pay
first of all if it is not broken DONT FIX IT
second if it is broken which is first directs case it is then just get it right and stick with it dont keep changing it
banking is (or should be very simple) it is not rocket science and bankers should not be being paid more than scientists and engineers who are the real captains of industry
stop ripping the public off but peddling duff products
I do not think you have done a very good job at illustrating to your customers the proposed changes and when these are going 'live'. Does not seem very easy to navigate to find this information, all looks a bit overly technical to me!

Why change it? It works, it's simple, it's easy to use, it does everything I want and I'm used to it. So far as I'm concerned the only thing I don't like is that you're cluttering it up with adverts and links to services I don't want.
I suggest looking at the Halifax site, very clear and useable.
I don't like the way the FD site opens you accounts in a small sub window that losses any of the browser funtionality.
is there an ipad app version? maybe there is and i missed it?
